Are we spoilt like Jonah?

Have we become compassionless and cold? Are we now people that feel we know better than God as to who deserves his kindness and Mercy? Sometimes we set up camp waiting for those that have done us wrong to fall, we look at sinners with haughty eyes thinking they will surely never enter heaven! We wait for their eternal doom instead of telling them of the gospel because we have already judged in our hearts that they are not worthy of salvation BUT Jonah's story reminds us that God is a gentle and kind father, a loving Savior who always seeks to redeem even in his anger.
