Are you in love with God?

from First15 Devotional · host First15

Loving God can sound so simple. But when we think about what it means to love God with everything we have, we all have to recognize that we fall short. Thankfully, our relationship with God isn’t built on our own faithfulness, but his. So as we continue to journey toward Easter this week, let us reflect on God’s great love for us and the distance he went to demonstrate it through the life and death of Jesus. Our Scripture for today comes from 1 John 4:19, and today's worship is Falling In Love by Phil Wickham. -- Thanks for listening to the First15 Podcast. We are so excited about the recent launch of our new First15 App, which is available now in your app store. One new feature that you can enjoy when you download the app is our Guided Prayers. We are adding prayers on meaningful topics every month, so be on the lookout for them! “Create in me a Clean Heart,” is our new guided prayer and comes at the perfect time of the Lenten season. As you prepare your heart for Easter, we hope you will use this prayer that our friend, Trace Kennedy, wrote to draw nearer to your Savior. God longs to pour out his grace and mercy to those who come before him with humble and contrite hearts. It’s in forgiveness where we can fully come to understand the depth of our Savior’s love. Trace Kennedy is the Brand Manager for Foundations with Janet Denison, a division of Denison Ministries that provides digital Bible study to anyone with a desire to study, understand, and apply the truth of Scripture to their daily lives.  Having been a student of Janet’s for over twenty years, Trace is now blessed to share in the work of her ministry to help others know and love Jesus.  https://first15.org/give/  https://first15.org/

Aarti is sung during Ritual of Aarti, in which flame is offered to deity. Aarti is a Hindi word and it is also spelled Arti, Arati or Arathi. The word Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word Aratrika (आरात्रिक), which means something that removes darkness. MRE Podcast MRE Podcast This is a daily devotional podcast for those who want more of God's Word each day. I read the Word and share my insights from the Word. You might ask why do I do this? In the wilderness, the Israelites had to depend on daily mana from heaven to live. They couldn't eat yesterday's nor keep them for the next day. They always lived on the fresh mana each day. We also need to live by the fresh word of God each day. However, often we skip a meal and live on the past encounters with God. Someone of us gets too busy to eat or someone us do not know how or where to start. We need fresh encounters each day with the Lord so that the love of Christ will overflow to others. That's what I am doing, doing my quiet time and feasting and sharing the food with people.
