Are You Watching And Ready?

The time that we are living in is running closer to God’s return. We’ve heard it and heard it but the time is now. Luke 9:23; there is nothing in the way of you dying out daily. We don’t do enough for God. A Christian is nothing but a sinner saved by grace. We are nothing. Stop taking off the Christian coat. When it’s cold or raining we like to put a coat on but when it begins to get hot, we remove it. Don’t wear Jesus just when you need Him. Keep Jesus on at all times. Revelations 3:15-19; today is the day of repentance. If you think you try to clean up your act then that’s the problem. You can’t clean up your sins, God must do that. Some don’t have the yearning for the Word of God. Some sit during a preaching and think it’s not for them and ignore it. In each and every service there is something for everyone. It may not be for the moment but it was sent for a purpose. Your repentance is not a 360 and return to your sin, it’s a 180 where you repent and walk away from it not to return. Hebrews 10:25; the day is coming, right around the corner. Jesus will call His people home very soon. Until that time we are to continue to come together, fellowship, worship, and love each other. When we get tired and low we search out things to bring us energy. We know where the fridge is that has that source of energy. There are some church members who don’t know where the source of energy is. They couldn’t even tell you how to get that energy. Sitting in church have you just thought about getting out of church? What your plans are after church, eating, playing, sleeping, etc. What a shame that your heart, mind, and soul aren’t on God. Lift up God, lift up the name of Jesus. Your rest will come later. The day is approaching. It’s not time to lay down and rest, it’s time to get up and work.
