Artispure – "Walking On Ice"

Art is pure. If you think about it, it really is. The way it interacts with you, the way it moves you, the power it has to affect how we live, how we love, how we see each other socially, spiritually, and politically on a daily basis. The phrase "Art Is Pure,” speaks to who we are as people. In a way, it is the one thing that differentiates us with everything else we share this planet with. Embodying this cultural idealism is the Chicago artist known as 'Artispure.’ A creative man with a free spirit and even bigger heart. Not only are we proud to call him a friend, but we are excited to fully welcome him to the Elevated family with his new two track EP, Walking On Ice. The first track on the release, which bears the same name as the EP, Walking On Ice, is a fun uplifting soulful house track with a real sexy groovy edge. Featuring the touching vocal melodies of the artist we know as Mystique, Walking On Ice is a perfect soulful house cut for any hour. Its charismatic smooth flavor will warm up any mood, give life to any party and uplift anybody who needs that positive escape in their life. The second, and final track on the Walking on Ice EP, featuring additional keyboards by the man Greg Spero, is the dubby jazz fueled floor stretcher, "Disco Jumbo.” This tune is led by a driving tribal jack beat and as the drums progress dubby layers of electric piano begin to melt over the rhythm. The groove builds and breaks down into a wash of melodic keys, finally exploding into the jazz house monster thats gonna have your feet tappin and the people dancing. What else would you expect from good Chicago house!
