The Reformed but Dead church, Sardis

    Release Date: 05/01/2022

Description: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are living, and yet you are dead." (Revelation 3:1) evidently the church of Sardis had a reputation that was known in the city, it wasn’t that they were following false teachings, or that they loved the world, that they were idolatrous, or that they were losing their best love. They no doubt received the apostolic teachings and formed a church, and they were probably right in their teaching, but they were dead in their rightness. The Lord told them to complete what was started in them. (vs 2) and to "Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and keep it and repent." (Revelation 3:3). Come out of your “defiled” grave clothes and put on the white resurrection clothes of Christ. Enjoy Him as your life. This is the church. We have so many denominations and traditions and groups in these Last days. The church is just Christ, no other name, Just Jesus, no more and no less. Just stand on that ground. May He be our identification and our life that we enjoy.

Bible Study With Jairus - Revelation 3 Part 1

    Release Date: 05/24/2023

Description: The Epistles to the Seven Churches Reveal Seven Spirit-Filled Stages of the Church and Individual The Letter to the Church in Sardis Reveals God’s Expectation for the Church to Live in Righteousness The letter to the church in Sardis reveals God's expectation for the church to live righteously. As we learned in our last study, the letter to Thyatira reveals God's expectation that the church members become Spirit-filled kings who can rule the nations with a rod of iron. The letter to Sardis describes the outward manifestation of the inward reality revealed in the letter to Sardis. The infilling of the Holy Spirit (Sardis) and its outworking in righteous living (Thyatira) are two sides of the same coin. Without the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we cannot truly manifest the righteousness of God in our actions. We can only live righteously if we are righteous on the inside. If we claim to have the infilling of the Holy Spirit but do not demonstrate any outward righteousness, then our infilling is unreliable. We need to be justified by faith as well as by works.

    Sardis | Kyle Kotrch

    Release Date: 02/07/2021

Description: Sardis was a church that looked good from the outside. They were a fortified city, in a prominent position in society, and physically safe high up on top of a cliff... But the soul of the church didn't look the same way. Jesus criticism for the church of Sardis is that they have a reputation for being alive, but they are dead, but the glorious hope even for those in Sardis is that we serve a God who can take what was once dead and bring it back to life!
