ATU alumni are now eligible to vote in Seanad Éireann elections as part of a newly established six-seat Higher Education constituency.This will replace the existing National University of Ireland (NUI) and Trinity College Dublin constituencies, and comes into effect on June 1, 2025.Graduates who hold bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees from ATU and meet the eligibility criteria can now registerGerald Gavin, Academic Affairs Manager at ATU, says alumni can also now be candidates in future Seanad elections:
