Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 42 which has been on bestseller lists numerous times in recent years. The contest is in its 43rd year and it's the most prestigious, longest running competition of its kind! Mr. Hubbard created and endowed the Writers of the Future contest in 1983 and due to its success, the Illustrators of the Future contest was initiated in 1988.
