Autumn by Grace Sloan (Pickled Poem Ep. 14)
from Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Poems · host Pickled Poems Podcast
Today's Pickled Poem is by ME, Grace Sloan! "Autumn" by Grace Sloan Orange, reds, and yellows paint the trees The leaves a crackling fire against the sky Whispering to each other in the breeze Relinquishing their hold, they fly The squirrels are gathering nuts to hide away Leaping through the trees they do go In the wind, their tails do sway Their hidden feast prepares them for the snow The time for camping has now come We hike all day, then pitch our tent Around the fire. Songs we do hum Enjoying the s'mores wonderful scent The signs say winter's close at hand The seasons shift by God's command Hi, I’m Grace, and this is the Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Poems Podcast.
