Summary

Many misunderstand or are completely ignorant of what God's righteousness is: they think it is merely a demand by God to do that which is humanly impossible, or a state of spiritual growth, development or attainment. The Righteousness of God is not a demand from Him, but a supply from Him. In Christ Jesus, God supplies righteousness to all who would admit that they are unable in themselves and of them self bring forth the fruits of righteousness and true holiness. Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity on the cross, God the Father is now Just (Righteous) and the Justifier (Righteousness) of those who put their faith in Christ Jesus for redemption from sin and its eternal consequences. Romans 3:24 "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (26) TO DECLARE , I SAY, AT THIS TIME HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: THAT HE (GOD) MIGHT BE JUST, AND THE JUSTIFIER OF HIM WHICH BELIEVETH IN JESUS."
