Awaken Hope with Elliott Katz on Being The Strong Man a Woman Wants

from Awaken Hope · host Kandiee Campbell

Why are so many women frustrated with today’s men?  How a man can regain a woman’s love and respect Why is the woman in your life unhappy? Why no matter how hard you try to please her – she’s not happy? “Most men want to be good partners and think if they do whatever the woman wants, she will be happy," says Elliott Katz, coach and author of Being the Strong Man A Woman Wants: Timeless wisdom for men on how to improve your relationship which has been translated into 24 languages around the world. Katz says his goal is to change the men of the world to improve relationships, have fewer break-ups and fewer children from broken homes. “After I got divorced I asked myself: “What do I have to learn from this? I set out on a journey to learn what it means to be a man and discovered wisdom that I wish I had known. I wrote the book to share this wisdom.” Show your share of leadership. One of the biggest complaints women have about men today is that they don’t take charge. Instead, they wait for the woman to tell them what to do. When a man sees a situation that needs to be dealt with that is not being dealt with, he should step forward and deal with it. Make decisions. To many women, a man who avoids making decisions is shirking his responsibilities. Take responsibility. Don’t blame your wife for something that goes wrong. Step forward and deal with it.  “If someone would have shared this information with me years ago, it would have saved me from making wrong choices in a mate, divorce and years of raising children on my own with no positive male role model for them,” a reader wrote. Another reader commented, “If my husband of 38 years had understood these basic but crucial truths, my marriage would not have disintegrated. It is refreshing to see that there is a man out there who actually 'gets it' and doesn't have any qualms about telling it like it is.”  A man wrote, “I made some fatal mistakes about being the kind of man I thought a woman wanted. I lost a marriage and only now, after reading this book, see how and why that happened. If I had known this while I was married, I probably wouldn’t be divorced.” Being the Strong Man A Woman Wants: Timeless wisdom for men on how to improve your relationship is available as a paperback, ebook and audio book.    Elliott Katz is a speaker and author of Being the Strong Man A Woman Wants: Timeless wisdom for men on how to improve your relationship which is striking a chord around the world. It has been translated into 24 languages by publishers in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. He has done many media interviews. After the end of a relationship, he set out to learn what it means to be a man in a relationship. He found powerful wisdom in the timeless lessons that fathers and other older male role models used to teach younger men. Contact: [email protected] www.ElliottKatz.com Twitter @Elliott_Katz

Understanding the ten commandments can be a good place to reflect on, as they were one of Israel's first introductions to learning how to relate to God and live in His way. Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
