Awareness

Has this ever happened to you: you're waiting at a stop light and within a second or two instinctively pull out your phone and begin checking things? And then it's not until you get honked at that you realize the light turned green a while ago. Even seconds of boredom now feel like a threat to our wellbeing. So we're both more distracted and less aware than ever! And we bring this conditioning into our experience of God. In this teaching, we consider how we can increase our awareness of God and His presence in our daily lives and discover how near He is to us, even when we don't feel it.
