Since he got out, bad news keep happening. Cape Fear, a new series, he's now streaming on Apple TV. Why when I want to hurt you? Why?

Starring Academy Award winner Javier Bardem. Why? And Academy Award nominee Inyanum. He's coming after my family.

Why? Cape Fear, now streaming on Apple TV, subscription acquired for Apple TV. Great question. When was the last time a display ad changed your mind?

Now think about the last time a friend told you about something they loved. Different feeling, right? That's how podcast advertising works. A host who's built real trust with their audience talks about your brand and their own words and their own voice.

It doesn't interrupt the experience. It's part of it. With ACAST, you can access the world's largest podcast marketplace. Choose the right shows, the right audiences, the right format.

Then watch the data tell you it worked. You're not buying impressions. You're buying influence. Learn more by visiting ACAST.com slash advertise.

Do you hear that? Do you hear that? Do you still do? No.

Good. Said you would. You did not just get in. No fucking way can we do an on tour.

There you are. Yes. Eh. Yes.

To the people who say. Oh, if I hear. They do listen to the podcast on the road. Holy cow.

Thank you. Oh, fuck you. Oh, fuck you. I can't listen to you.

He has no capability of listening to us. Wait, before you dig into that, can we just, do we have time for me to do like a super, super, super, super fast little explanation of our timeline, a day to day timeline, like why we could not record on the road. Yeah, like we can set. You know what?

Okay. You can set. Thank you for all the things you said. It's nice to be impressed on a clean cassette.

Is that the new cassette? That's new cassette. I'll do it. Made in America.

Actually, it sounds good. Don't care. Let me put that in the air. I don't care.

Hello, everyone. I'm Fortrach now. I'm the gimmick. Hello.

I am the gimmick. Hello. I am the gimmick. Hello.

Yeah, grab your box over there. Show them off, baby. Made in USA. Look at these new made in the USA.

Let's go ahead and let it down. Why don't you tell people about it? Why don't you get going? Don't have a sign, please.

Leave them soon again. This is too much not over. You're too much not over, a little. Nope.

You're too much. You're too much. Back out of the road tomorrow morning. Thank you for listening to Ron Prashas.

I will be interrupting you later. I hate you. Bye-bye. Hello, down.

I'm too late. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Look at this.

Yeah, we got a fixed Fortrach and these brand new American made cassettes. So can you give a quick review of them? Was this your first time opening it up cracking it open? Yeah, it was not prepared to do a review like read off like all these things.

But anyway, it's American made cassette. It's from Missouri. Okay. That's all we really need to talk about.

I can talk about that later. Okay. We are not in any way endorsed by this cassette company. Not yet.

But they're very well-could-be an unsponsored national ad in the future for this cassette company. Okay. They make cassettes. And that sounded pretty good.

Fortrach, actually it sounded rich. Yeah. Yeah. He was not competing with all those grateful dead concerts.

No. You're recording over. Yeah, so go ahead. Well, I was going to say it we both, I feel comfortable saying this felt very bad.

Ooh, I have a funny thumbs up. I'm like, no, not thumbs up. Thumbs down. We felt really bad that we didn't record on the road.

And to be honest, I think it made us both feel kind of off. Like I felt like I was really like, this thing is missing. This thing is missing. You made me sad.

It made me feel like we were just going to lose our podcast audience. I know. It made me feel like we were losing ground. Oh my gosh.

I kind of feel like we did lose a little ground and I'm so sorry everyone. You know, although I would like to say too, please just hang in there. You know, people's lives are busy. Gosh.

So we went on tour and it was fucking long and I'm home now. We literally, literally just got home today. I like noon and yeah, and Lou literally leaves tomorrow morning again. So we, we do beautifully packed up all of our podcast recording stuff for the road in our adorable little vintage like suitcase and everything that we have for it.

You do. And you have an adorable vintage suitcase. It's fucking adorable. And so this is, I'll just give you kind of like a rough, it's not even that rough.

It's actually going to be probably pretty exact timeline of our day because it was pretty consistent every day. So, oh shit. Oh shit. Go before it comes back.

Really? Yeah, you got to know. I don't think I do. Okay.

So, let's say, so like, wait, in the, well, I can't, how do I describe it? Where do I start with part of the day? So we're driving. We had to get up.

Well, you get up. But here's the thing is we don't get up early, not too early because we've been up late. We were not like actually late people at home. We're not like, oh, we're up late at night.

No, no, no, we go to bed. Like usually when our kids go to bed like nine, ten. So these shows were not that early at all, actually. And we had our youngest Izzy with us who was nine years old and holy shut.

So we had to like keep her up till pretty much midnight or one all in Canada, right? It was like, that was, I would say it was pretty much till 1 AM oof. And so then we had to go to bed like as quickly as we could. Like once we got back to wherever we were saying 1 AM and then let her sleep as long as we possibly could, but not too long because we had to get to the next venue, which would include the drive time and then also breakfast because our little girly really needs food.

And she also takes medication. And so she has to have food with her medication and you have to have it in the morning. Some of you might know or understand and da da da. And so when you go to a hotel, oh my God, just the logistics of trying to find a fucking hotel that like checked off all the boxes, like not too expensive, not too far from the venue, not too gross, not fancy.

We'll have a buffet. Do we have to pay for it? Sometimes it's free. Hell yeah.

I mean, we had no time to do the fucking podcast. So yeah, exactly. No time. Because then we drag our little girl down to breakfast.

Rich does not necessarily shout out now. But I'm going to give it to him and the arm. He didn't get care in one and very much. He let her down, but we will do one and be way.

Happy 50th rich. Happy 50th rich. Rich. It's a birthday.

Another birthday for another husband who does. Hello, what's the deal? Let's be real. Who has left down down to?

Yeah, I'll do it. We're checking. Yeah. Harsh.

We've done that too. What guys have to do better? Yeah. So that was a birthday.

Shout out from Karen for her husband, Rich. The real the the stitch, the news being that she wanted him to give her get her a birthday shout out. Her birthday was in May. Right.

We're talking about, yeah, this is Karen who she came to the Toronto show. Karen, I want to say it was really fucking nice meeting you, Karen. And I loved talking to you in that loud venue over the merch booth. And I can't remember if we hugged.

I hugged people that night who said they liked the podcast. And then I was like, I initiated the hug. I'm going to just anyone who liked the podcast. Pretty much anyone who says they like the podcast.

I'll grab them. Yeah. I know. I'm sorry.

Is that bad? I mean, high school need to feel like, you know, like someone likes me. Oh, he doesn't want me to like me. Oh my God.

So, um, Karen, uh, and well, here's the other thing too. She actually also bought him a t-shirt, Rich. You know, Rich, what I'm going to say is right now I'm picturing you holding Karen's hands, looking adoringly into her eyes and going like, baby, holy shit. You're the fucking best.

Listen to me getting the shout out on raw impressions and you're really the fan. I love you. So I'm rich. That was me pretending to be you.

You know, model that behavior. That Toronto show was hella loud. Oh my God. It was so, it was really hot.

It was like in a big garage. It was like in a huge garage. It was literally an garage. And it was really hot out.

I could talk for like years about that Toronto show. I was backstage. But poor Izzy talking about like keeping an Izzy on schedule. Izzy was like backstage at this thing.

And it was like really loud. Oh, that's like really loud is like with no doors. No, no, no, we call you Pamela. Pamela.

Pamela. Is this before you were probably Pam? Oh, oh, Pam. The 70s, the Golden Major's Pam.

Yes. Come on, new parents. Let's bring it back if we can. If you can.

Oh, my God. Kids, having kids. And your kids, Pam. Come on.

Yes, I have kids. One track man has kids. It's your birthday. It's your birthday.

Your kitty crappy birthday. Let's hear it for your little fire. Oh, yeah, yeah. There's nothing better than that.

And that comfy sweater. Thank you for warm a say. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

I'm gonna say it's a good thing. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. My Operational Mo25 Like Yeah. It's feeling like a little smog with that new tape.

You missed me. Oh, like, I was happy to be back. I wonder if Garrett would be okay with you reading this whole message. Can you read it?

I think it's really sweet. Um, what would it be possible to get a birthday shout out for my lovely girlfriend? Yes. Her name is Pamela Vulfner.

Oh, for. Vulfer. I'm so sorry. I hate reading things out loud and she will be entering her 54th year.

Or is she entering her 55th year? If she's turning 54, then she's in her 55th year on August 31st. So it's not her birthday yet. No, I know.

This is actually current. Oh my gosh. She has told many folks that Lucentrida, Freed, Weed, era jams were inspiring to her as she was developing her own music in the mid 90s of Minneapolis. So she has her band Kitty Craft, which is quite successful with Kitty Craft.

We, uh, we listened to Kitty Craft. Was it on her way to Boston? Boston. We can't remember.

We listened to like a whole album of Kitty Craft and, uh, it was awesome. We were like, Oh, thank you, Kitty Craft for, uh, like being a fan of Luce and, uh, we're just like, it's really cool music. Guys, you got to go check out Kitty Craft and she's actually going to be going on tour and coming to Massachusetts. Where is she going to be playing?

I got to remember her tour schedule. I was like, Oh, she can go. I want to go see Kitty Craft. So what else?

What else do you want to share about the timeline? Oh, the tour timeline that we were. Oh my gosh. Okay.

Well, I think we made it as make, we made it to the venue and there was no time to do the podcast because we had to get up. Oh, yeah. So we're getting easy down to the, all the drives were at least, oh, three hours. Yeah.

Three to four hours with some stuff, which is short really, which is actually actually a very reasonable drive for a two or three to four hours. True. Nonetheless. But nonetheless, we're, we're doing it.

I'm doing the drive. It's not like a tour bus. We're in our minivan. Yeah.

A dull is driving because driving actually really drains a lot of energy out of a performer, like myself, I have to say for sure, being in my, in my 60th year. I'm 59. I turned 59. I am in my 60th year on earth.

So you're saying Pamela's entering her 55th year? Well, I don't know. She's, he says she will be entering her 54th year. So that means she's 53.

Right. Okay. But we don't know if that's what he meant. Well, I think that's what he meant.

Okay. Garrett Pamela's. I'll tell this. What happened?

Oh, he was the name of his big crush. Oh, he's tracing. He's a ermine. Tracey slisher.

Yeah. He rode his bike to her house and turned around. He's turned around. He said one more to her.

Oh, like roller skate or ice. Ice skate. Ice escape. You asked her to ice skate.

He did. I did. I did. I did.

I did. That's adorable. Do you want to? It's a Massachusetts.

Dang, it's your birthday. Tracy, it's your birthday. Welcome to a new year. You're a farmer shining like a diamond.

It's time to celebrate. It's time to celebrate. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Come on. Yeah.

So that's a get on the birthday train. Yeah, it's Tim's wife, Tracy. They're from Durham, North Carolina. Happy birthday, Tracy.

Yeah. On the 24th. Wait, it happened. Happy birthday.

I hope it was lovely. From Tim, from your husband? A person? Long time fans?

Partner? Anyway, Tim, to Tracy and us, to you. I mean, of course I had to relate it to myself because I'm so self-involved. And I just take the name and go, who did I know who was named Tracy?

And those Tracy. Tracy Slisher. I can't believe you remember that. Why?

I don't know. Tracy Slisher. I'm paying attention to you, honey. I got my eye on you.

I'm tracking you down like a little ear tag. Keep them tabs on you. Yeah. I asked Tracy Slisher to skate.

I would ice skate. There was an arena in Jackson, Michigan. You know, I would have like a kids skate, free skate, skate in circles to pop music. Adorable.

And I asked her to skate. Can you skate with me? I guess I would. Oh my God.

Will you skate with me? Where was this? Like at school? No, no.

It was like somewhere. It was at San Marina in Jackson, Michigan. I'm saying, where did you ask Tracy Slisher? Do we like at school?

No, no, we were at the arena. We were at the arena. We were at the arena. You asked her.

Oh, all the kids did. All the kids did on Friday. You were like there. And you were there.

And did you skate up to Tracy? Well, there's no other way. Did you skate up to Tracy? If she was on the ice, like what?

Why? Yes, I thought she was lined up on the side. And then you go like, do maybe they had a couple skate. Maybe that was it.

Were you doing a couple of things? Were you supposed to go up and ask? Yes. Oh my goodness.

Yeah. And I was like, boy, I was beside myself. And I was able to ask her that. And then we skated.

Did you say yes? She did. She held my hand and skated around. She held your hand.

But I made absolutely no eye contact. And then at the end, I'm sure I just like dropped my hand down and skated away. I was like, man, I had no idea. I had no idea how to speak to the opposite side.

A little heart. A little heart. And not until I was like 21 or 22. I could not speak to girls.

I had. Well. I'll make it one of them. I'll shout out the raw impressions way.

She turned 47 back in June. Her husband never told us what alone. Oh, for goodness sake. To email the wrong questions.

Get started at acast.com slash advertising. True. That was that that email was amazing. It's amazing.

Do you want to explain this? It's pretty good. We got this fantastic email where she just laid it out. She was like, listen.

I asked her this email. She said that that was her only thing that she asked her husband to do was to email us a birthday show to her. Hey, we fucking heard, baby. Welcome to a news.

You're the fine one. Shine it like a diamond. Shine it. Shine it like a diamond.

Wait, so did she come up to you in Cleveland? No. Oh my gosh. Was she even there?

I don't know. What the hell happened? You didn't go. Oh.

You and Izzy had a break because- Oh, it was at a bar. We sold through all of the merch pretty much. Yeah. All of the t-shirts.

So, Adele and Izzy didn't really have to go to the shows once we got to Ohio. It's true. There was nothing left to sell. Yeah.

So then we were just like on this tour, like driving every day in the drive-out. It's true. I'm driving your asses around. I, you know, and it was exhausting still.

It's still exhausting. But we only missed two nights. I think we only missed two nights. Yeah.

You stayed home. Cleveland and- Cleveland. You stayed home in Cincinnati. You knew the Port Kentucky, I should say.

That's all. That's all. We were in the beautiful little town of Newport, Kentucky. Robbie and I at the Newport River.

I was right. So I took Columbus. Sure. It was beautiful.

So she didn't say anything. Did you say anything then at the show? No, I didn't say anything. Sorry, Megan.

Sorry, Megan. I did not make the connection. I did not sing the song. Okay.

Thank you. She didn't make contact with me at that time. It would have been funny. That was a good show.

Yeah. It would have been that much funnier. If you gently poked her heart. Yeah.

I'm not great with followers. Like a lot of husbands, including Megan's husband. Oh dear. Who did not?

Can we make 20, 26 that you're a follow through for husbands? Sure. Yeah. Good luck.

Let's do better guys. Whoo. But he's a good guy. Of course, they're all good guys.

It's just in my goodness. I was kind of a good guy. She said. I believe her.

I just, you know, you're a good guy too. But you know, listen, my birthday is April, April 3rd, honey. You said that as if you were going to forget your own birthday. So my birthday is April.

I actually was like, I almost said April 6th. That's Izzy's birthday. She took it from me. I mean, it's like, you know, I was like, I'm really go to my child because that's all the matters, right?

You went into labor on your birthday. Oh, she did. I got one into labor on her birthday. I barfed on my birthday.

Did your water break on your birthday? Yeah, actually. Yeah, I think it did, right? Let's just say it did.

I think it did. It was at night. Yeah. My water broke from my birthday.

I puked and then my water broke. The baby was on its long, slow, and dry. Oh my goodness. This isn't going to help me though.

This is about August babies. Let's keep it going. Oh, well, so anyway, going back to our sketch. Wait, what?

Oh, yeah, we do have to do have two more to mention. Oh, well, I was going to say, so we would then drive and then you'd think, oh, there must be time to like sit down, record a podcast before you sound check or whatever. It turns out. No, absolutely not.

It turns out we were always getting to the hotel and then we would have like, when I say lorroi, I mean, like, lorroi, we would have like 15 minutes to like run out of the car, check in to the hotel, drag all of our shit up to the room, get back into the car, drive to the venue, load in for sound check, set up the merch, et cetera, et cetera. And then desperately trying to figure out where the fuck we're going to eat. And we ate, I think really poorly on this tour, to be honest, like overall, this was, this was one of my least favorite for food. Yeah.

Yeah, this one was rough. So it was rough. It was fucking rough. And then we got to go back for the show and we're just, we're there all night till like one in the morning.

Ah, a poor pod. But lucky for the folks at the show. It was all about the show. Because we fucking care.

We're there for the show, you know? We're doing that. What's the show? And to disperse our merch.

Yeah. I mean, I was working the merch table and I want to set it up real nice. I want to talk to people, say hi and you know, you want to do the same and put on a nice show. Yeah.

Give me a round. I don't know. Who's this for? I don't know.

Just a me. He's just really excited about this new tape, huh? Yeah, he's really enjoying the new tape. Hot tape.

Rock, shoot, rock. Yeah. I know. I know.

You guys bought our rompressions t-shirts on tour. Thank you so much. I mean, Canada. Canada was pretty awesome.

Yeah. Canada made me feel. Canada was like a really wild, romp in bed. You know what I mean?

Where you're like, whoa, hello. Like, I didn't know we're going to do that move. Like you're pulling my hair and whatever. It's like, as it was, they were buying, they were there, they were chatting, we were driving.

It was like, yeah, it was intense. We're hungry. Canada made me feel good. Canada made me.

Yeah. Damn. Canada. Yeah.

I felt complete in Canada. They fucking showed up for Lewis. Knox are a little. They really did.

Thank you, Canada. Thank you. Yeah. It felt like it was my birthday every day we were in Canada.

It's true. I really did. It's true. Yeah.

And speaking of birthdays. Oh, yes. Stay on task, dear. What are we doing?

Who's next? Who's? This one is so complicated. Okay.

For me. I'm complicated. Yep. This is the person who wrote this request is a long time fan.

Okay. Long time. Of... Cebadou.

Okay. She shows up in the shows. Where? Where is this?

I'm convinced that the first time I met her was at a dinosaur show in the late 80s. Oh, my God. In Manchester. Oh, so it's in England.

Yes. Okay. And for some reason, I'm convinced that the first time I met her, she was vomiting. Oh.

Like in 1989. Does she want that on the podcast? Yes, she does. She doesn't mind.

100%. She's a really special fan, this person. Amazing. Okay.

I'm going to read what she wrote. Okay. I guess so. Yeah.

My mom, Christine, gave birth to a baby girl on the 2nd of August 1969. Mm. She says, my mom, did you say Christine? Christine.

Okay. Yep. You want to continue from here? No.

Okay. Christine loves the wrong impressions podcast and is a musician who is poorly just now and she can't play her instrument anymore but loves to hear Lou, me. Parenthesis, me. Sing.

I love to hear you sing too. Five years before Christine had Vicky, parenthesis, me. The woman who's your fan who wrote this. This is from Vicky.

Sure. Vicky middles. Yep. When I met her, her name was Vicky Barlow.

Oh. And she told me a lot about the Barlow's. Are you really? Me?

Possibly. Wow. Because my Barlow's came from England. Yeah.

And they say they left from Liverpool, the port of Liverpool, which is up there with Manchester. It's the north of England. Okay. So it's very possible.

Oh my gosh. Still genealogy, Vicky. I'm a northern England, northern England, a Barlow. Okay.

Possibly from the Manchester area. So yes, perhaps. Okay. She told me all kinds of interesting things about Barlow's.

Interesting. Okay. One of which is originally French Barlow with an Ian, Barlow with an Ian, and Roman Catholic, which I am. I was raised Roman Catholic.

I wouldn't say that I am right now. But anyway. Currently paused on that one. Currently, I've put my Roman Catholicism on a pause for sure.

Mm hmm. Okay. Okay. Before Christine had me, she had a baby girl in 1964 who she named Adele.

Now this is crazy. And she wrote it, spelled like my name too, which is... You got to really, Vicky, if you could really clarify. Vicky, please.

Yeah. Please clarify that. Please, you know, because this is Trusse. Christine laughs a lot watching Lew and Adele on Ron Prussians.

Oh, so does that mean she's watching on YouTube? Yeah. I guess they watch it together. Vicky and Christine.

Vicky and her mom, Christine. Yes. Vicky and her mom, Christine, watch us on YouTube. Thank you.

And they listen to us. And she's very happy, Christine, when she hears the name Adele Barlow, as this was the name of her daughter, also Adele Barlow. Wow. Okay.

This is true. Vicky, you got to clarify. Okay. Time goes by.

This is her. Time goes by. Met Lew around 93, although I was... Like I said, I think I met her before that.

Time goes by Met Lew around 93 and had been sick a few times at Saboteur shows, which is true. She's thrown up at least two other shows. And one's like right on the stage. Oh, my.

Yeah, the hop and grape. Yeah. Okay. Which is now known as...

She's got a sensitive tummy. Yeah. She's so moved by the music of Saboteur that she throws up. Wow.

Or maybe she just really dislikes the band in the music. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah, we saw each other last year.

Oh, there's a lot that Vicky has to clear up. Oh, no, it was this year. For us. No, wait, it was last year?
