Morning Mantra: “Raise your words not your voice. It’s the rain that grows the flower, not the thunder.”I have always loved this quote by Rumi. I am by nature a talkative, loudish person.  Let’s say I’ve been “shished” more than once in my life.I’m MUCH better since I have become more self aware, and this quote helps me stay that way.Talking over someone, not listening attentively, and being a critical keyboard warrior, all operate like thunder. No one benefits from it, and nothing grows from it. You certainly don’t.In your conversations and interactions, be like soft rain.
