Be Willing To Start

from Horse Hippie’s Morning Mantras · host Horse Hippie

Morning Mantra: "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can."  Are you feeling like you want to help others during this crisis but don't know how, or think you don't have enough time or money? Forget those thoughts and just start.  Do one small thing, with whatever skills you have, with whatever resources you can find. Maybe write a letter to a shut in. Maybe read a book virtually to a child so the mother can get a 15 minute break.Drop off goods at a local food bank.Call a friend or family member.Take an elderly neighbor's dog for a walk.Bake a pie or some cookies and drop them off at a hospital for the nurses.Sew masks.Run errands for someone.Teach a free class on whatever you know.Start an educational blog on a topic you love.Give your old books to a free library or start one in your neighborhood.Join an online book club and share your stories. The list is endless. In helping others we help ourselves.  Please don't let thoughts of what you lack stop you from giving freely of your wonderful gifts of love.#BeWillingToStart #BeHappy #BeHorsey #BeHippie #HorseHippie #MorningMantra #inspirationalQuotes
