Send us Fan MailLet’s Coach with Mark and Carolyn - Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Noon EDTBeating AutismWhat do you do when Western Medicine can’t help your child?  If you’re award winning author Anne Evans, you find unconventional approaches. When her daughter was diagnosed with autism upon entering preschool in 1999, teachers identified her as being on the autism spectrum.  After exhausting all of the specialists she could find, with no help available, Anne used her background in microbiology and started looking for alternatives.  Her search for recovery led into the world of alternative medicine; starting with diet and nutrition and ending with Traditional Chinese Medicine and three different forms of energy medicine.  Her daughter was able to make a full recovery in 3 to 4 years.  Anne turned her journey into the award winning book BEATING AUTISM.  The book describes the recovery process step-by-step and offers supporting medical evidence for recovery.Since BEATING AUTISM came out in 2015, and won three awards.  Anne has become a leader in the Mid-Atlantic Autism Community.   She has had numerous speaking engagements, including to the National Autism One Conference in Chicago.  She is a Holistic Life Coach and Children's Nutrition Specialist on top of being a microbiologist.  She has opened a practice in Annapolis, MD, coaching parents in autism recovery.  She also runs the largest alternative autism support group in Washington DC.Join Mark and Carolyn, as we talk to Anne about her success in beating autism.
