It started with a picture on Instagram advertising ‘chin feminisation’ services, and ended with a 2-hour conversation about beauty standards, procedures, and made-up insecurities. The exploitation of women’s desires to feel and look good, and the constant repackaging of what femininity is supposed to look like is jarring, and we can't pretend like it's not problematic.
