Becoming A Life Coach

from JOIN UP DOTS - GET RICH & LIVE FREE (Business Coaching With A Touch Of Life Coaching Too) · host David Ralph

Today's guest joining us on the Join Up Dots podcast is a lady who like most of us, hit a point in her career when she knew she wanted more in life. Then like most of us when she started building her business as a side hustle she looked for her ideal customer, and found out that her ideal customer was actually herself. As she says "I spent most of my 20's hustling for the big life goals – getting ahead in my career, buying a house, getting married, saving money for retirement – checking all the boxes that are supposed to make you feel successful and accomplished. And although I was proud and grateful for the life I had created, I knew I wanted more. I was craving fulfillment in my work and the permission to be myself. Shortly after my 30th birthday, my awakening (or as I like to call it – third life crisis) began. Struggling with my weight, not feeling good enough, and hearing that deep inner calling that life was meant to be joyful, not full of pressure and anxiety. I was already seeing success building my "side hustle" on top of my full-time job, but that was also beginning to feel out of alignment. Showing up the way others were teaching me to build an online business was just creating more of that overwhelming pressure. I now clearly see that it was exactly what I needed to propel me into the work that I do today – helping other women get back in touch with themselves so they can create a business they love. Now the interesting part that of this was her realisation that the advice she was receiving was actually adding to more and more of overwhelming pressure. She believed that she was doing the right thing, by studying other people, but actually discovered that the truth was very very different. So when did she back out and start creating the path that was actually the right one for her and her family? And how does she know through her own coaching program that she isn't doing the same for her clients and presenting a world of overwhelm pressure. Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Robyn Chavarie Show Highlights During the show we touched on some deep rooted discussion points with RObyn such as: How and why it is so difficult for a lady to create her own future when she is trying to be something for everyone in their lives. Robyn shares her journey of experimentation, and the growth stage in her life when boredom lead her to assess everything. Robyn realised that she was ok in asking for the cash right at the very beginning, which is a huge piece of the puzzle that people struggle with bigtime And lastly...... Why it is ok to say enough is enough in life, I am ready to be who I want to be and to hell with the consequences.
