Chris and Kyle are all about chasing down the Devilish Disagreers and setting them straight. But in light of recent events, Chris and Kyle were feeling the unction to talk about dignity. Christians care about the sacred, and we care about the worth given by the sacred. Because our neighbors are created in God's image, they have dignity, they have worth. It's difficult to remember this in the midst of an argument. Our brain gets focused on winning. Our body gets warm and we find ourselves yelling and shouting and resorting to ad hominem jabs. How do we prevent this? Can we treat others with dignity even while we're angry? How do we show others dignity even when we disagree?
