Today’s Best of Features: (00:00-29:18) – The 1990 first overall pick in the NFL Draft, Jeff George, joins Jake Query to give the perspective on what the buildup in the nights before and the day of the draft is like when you know that you are the first overall selection. Jake asks Jeff for his opinion on the skills that Fernando Mendoza possesses, admits that he could see Mendoza not struggling to earn the trust of the locker room when the future of the Raiders are in a similar age range as him, and believes that the Raiders should start Mendoza over Kirk Cousins.   (29:18-52:34) – Joel Erickson from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to discuss which position group is of need for the Indianapolis Colts that isn’t being talked about, identifies Riley Leonard as the backup quarterback for the Colts and that Anthony Richardson will be elsewhere despite some of the things Chris Ballard said earlier this week. Jake also asks Joel if the draft doesn’t have as much pop to it as some of the previous drafts.
