John Canzano is in talking about soup. That's because the Texas State President made a tweet about soup and many think it had to do with the school joining a bigger conference. Canzano talked to the Texas State President and says what he knows and heard from him. U.S. Rep. from WA's 5th congressional district, Michael Baumgartner joins the program to talk about NIL and the house decision in college sports. Baumgartner is trying to push college sports to being ultra competitive again and is trying to get NIL evenly distributed to all schools. That way players aren't leaving schools for a bigger check. Washington State professor Lloyd Smith joins the program to talk about the torpedo bats in Major League Baseball. Smith is an expert on baseball bats and tells Canzano all about the science behind the bats and what they actually do. New Portland State women's basketball coach, Karlie Buriss joins the program to discuss her new position as head coach. Buriss tells Canzano why she took the job and how she envisions her program. Buriss explains how she is going to lead Portland State women's basketball. Burris discusses her coaching style and what strengths she brings in building a program.
