Muhammad Abdullah was once a thriving young businessman, but after a long courtship with Nehad he became convinced her family was using sorcery to control and ruin him. He broke off the relationship, then returned to it, feeling ever more manipulated and blaming Nehad’s mother, who was rumored to practise black magic and whose own mother had been killed years earlier over similar suspicions.
