Summary
Tonight we remember the life and legacy of two great men who passed just hours from each other on Friday July 17th. Dr. CT Vivian and the Hon. Congressman John Lews both left this world in much better shape than they found it almost 100yrs ago .They both lived during some very tumultous times as Black men in this country in search of equality and justice for all Back people. They both work directly with Dr. Martin Luther King during the Civil Rights Movement, marching and protesting for justice. Even after the movement, both men might have taken different paths but they both continued to strive for equali rigths for all of God's people. We discuss their iconic lives during tonight's show. And, we also share the song "Glory' that the Detroit Youth Choir recently recorded and shot a video for it right here in the City of Detroit. We talk with Gwenolyn Jackson and her mother Hollie as they share their experiences shooting the video and recording the song.. Rexy Rolle and I became acquainted through social media when I ran across an interview she did with RollingOut Magazine. She was gracious to accept our interview request, and she shared with us some of the keys to her familly's success in the Aviaiton Industry. These are just three of almost 90 guests that we have interviewed over a span of 2yrs and we are thankful and godly proud of this platform that God has given us to connect wtih so many influential people who are willing to share their secrets to success with others. PLUS, we are now at the crossroads of history with a historic vote taking place in the House of Representatives to impeach our nation's 45th President. The time has come for Congress to act and to send a direct message to the Executive that this is not a Monarch or a Dictorship, but this is 3 co-equal branches of govenment that are accountable to one another. We plan to discuss Trump's pending impeachiment in the House and what are the future implications.
