This song... OH BOY THIS SONG... You may notice if you ever download any of my songs that they have a number at the end, like... 96.3 or something, that first number is the number of songs i have written or attempted to write, (the 2nd number is the revision number) a few are unfinished projects, this one... is song number 58... i'm now up to song 106, i've written over 40 songs since this one. Thing is i was waiting for a vocalist for well over a year now, it has been booked in to be done by over 5 different vocalists but none of them were able to do it, it became my cursed song, one that i really wanted to release for a long long time but never could, in the end i decided to release it with my own vocals. I've always been nervous releasing songs where i sing in them, i hope this one isn't too hard on the ears. Thank you for listening. lyrics: I hear her foot steps... Through the rain She whispers, she whispers to me... Once again Treading lightly Through a dream It replays like a horror scene Her bleeding heart could not withstand Weeping life through the sands Ice fire blood and water Earth wind tears and slaughter I still wear the scars Of the memories you preached The highs and lows of limits we reached I saw the fire The passion and desire Crystallized... In your eyes Never in my dreams Under the veil of rain Did i think i'd see your face again I hold my breath and try to pretend I'm... not... scared... Under the moon Under twisted rain clouds I stare upon the perfect black rose Filled with love And gripped with fear I'm mesmerized by the dancing shadows There was once a Time when i'd trust your smile When i'd believe your eyes You were my queen Once upon a time My love of darkness My sweet black rose tell me what do you dream To blacken the sky To steal the sun Are we just another kingdom For you to overrun The earth... The sky... I could hardly deny They're within your grasp Will they be yours at last The seas...the stars... They used to be ours Won't you just let it be Please come back to me
