Blacks Who Thrift: Keyana Michel

from Thrift Therapy · host La Vee

This week I tell you about my most recent thrift trip finds, the problems with Anchor sponsorship due to changes since the pandemic, and I talk with Keyana Michel pronounced (Key-Yana) (Me-Shell). Key is a 29 year old resale fashion entrepreneur from Boston, Massachusetts. She runs are sale fashion media brand called Key To Fashion and the community organization Blacks Who Thrift, inspired by her Narts conference trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2017. As a Black woman, what stuck with her was that "People were constantly telling me along my journey how 'Black people don’t thrift' and it’s something that we don’t do; and I knew that wasn’t true... I was so driven and motivated to create a community that looked like me, and loved thrifting just as much as I do. I was driven to create a movement." We got into that and so much more, visit www.thrifttherapypod.com for show notes on the episode and to learn more about Key and Blacks Who Thrift.  PODCAST SHOW NOTES https://www.thrifttherapypod.com/podcast KEYANA'S LINKS Blacks Who Thrift (@blackswhothrift) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSpWxRXlO4V/?utm_medium=copy_link Key To Fashion Website: https://www.keytofashion.com/ Key To Fashion Instagram: (@_keytofashion) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRhhGP3Fimv/?utm_medium=copy_link Personal Instagram:  (@_badgyalstyle) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuZRBCynDLt/?utm_medium=copy_link Vintage Glamour Show: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/key-to-fashion-presents-vintage-glamour-show/id1567493439 Key To Fashion YouTube Channel: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCUXUBj5_TTgMBRix39d9Q5g/videos Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/keytofashion_/ DONATE NOW :  Proceeds of advertising made on this episode from 10/10/2021 to 12/30/2021 will be donated to #blacklivesmattermovement . Join us as we navigate the intersection of technology and mental well-being, helping you track your emotional journey and build lasting resilience through the power of Lynne's Podcast Lynne August MD Dr. A offers her interpretations and applications of Dr. Revici’s profound research at DrRevici.com and the Revici Journal. Dr. Revici was arguably fifty to one hundred years ahead of his time in his application of quantum physics to medical sciences. As a once-aspiring physicist, this alone propelled Dr. A to Dr. Revici. As a physician, she felt compelled, and in some palpable way responsible, to understand Dr. Revici’s ability to control pain and achieve remissions in terminal cancer patients with his non-toxic “guided chemotherapy”, even many cancers that conventional therapy failed to control. Most of the time his questions and solutions were as unprecedented as they were effective. While Dr. Revici was primarily focused on cancer, Dr. A’s research and therapeutics to prevent and treat all chronic and degenerative disease can transform 21st century medicine.
