The Gessert twins are improving and now excelling. UConn is clearly leading the Big East Women's basketball race, but Creighton is competing in the middle field. Damon Benning guaranteed a Creighton win on Wednesday night over Xavier, and showcased the confidence the Bluejays needed. The Bluejays analytically finished the game with the Musketeers early. Coach McDermott saw the effort he needs to sustain winning with the game on Wednesday.
