Boise, Idaho Daily Weather Forecast Weather Report for 01-01-2025

Here's the weather report script: Good evening, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with the latest forecast for Boise, Idaho. Winter is definitely showing its frosty face tonight, folks! We've got a Winter Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up and prepare for some snowflakes. Overnight temperatures will dip down to around 30 degrees with light east-southeast winds at about 8 miles per hour. Expect a light dusting of snow - less than half an inch - so nothing too dramatic, but definitely enough to make things look like a winter wonderland. New Year's Day brings more snowfall, with precipitation likely before 11 in the morning. We're looking at a high of 37 degrees, with winds shifting from southeast to completely calm. About an inch of snow is expected to accumulate, perfect for those who want to start the year with a picturesque winter scene. The rest of the week looks like a mixed bag of precipitation. Thursday will see a slight chance of snow turning into rain, with temperatures climbing to a mild 46 degrees. Friday brings a 50 percent chance of rain and temperatures near 52 degrees. The weekend starts off cloudy with a slight chance of rain on Saturday, and temperatures hovering around 43 degrees. Sunday continues the trend with a small possibility of rain and snow, keeping things interesting. Next week looks relatively calm, with partly sunny conditions expected on Tuesday and temperatures staying in the high 30s to low 40s.
