Strait and Hasquet were recruited to the University of Montana by Pat Kennedy, but they played for Coach Krystkowiak and Coach Tinkle. They were both key pieces on the team that upset the University of Nevada in the NCAA Tournament and is the last team from the Big Sky Conference to win a game in the NCAA Tournament. Andrew Strait came to the University of Montana from Yakima, WA and finished as one of the top-10 scorers in program history (4:51). Jordan Hasquet went to Missoula Sentinel and is from one of the best basketball families in the state of Montana and has more memories with Coach Krystkowiak and Tinkle than just having played for them in college (21:02).
