Breaking Point

from Jason.Creer · host Jason.Creer

New note (11.12.25) I just finished remastering this song, i hope you like the new version. If you don't like it and you really want a copy of the old version, email me on [email protected] and i can send you a copy. :) Heya everyone i wrote another metal song :) Also my first time in a long time trying to sing on my own song (in the final version) lol. Hope it isn't too terrible. This song was inspired by the situations of 2 people close to me, one stuck in a job where she is not appreciated as much as she should be and made to work endless hours, and another friend going through a terribly abusive relationship (which thankfully she is now free from. This song is about reaching your limit and fighting back! Lyrics: Everyday i step into this hell with just a slap in the face and a soul to sell but you've gone too far, and crossed the line you stabed me in the back for the final time and i can't take it any more it's the same old game i've played before i'm making a stand, and not backing down i'm done being a victim, let's start a war i'll burn your whole world down You destroyed my pride Sacrificed my name And i gave it all for free i won't run and hide And i won't play your game now look me in the eye and tell me to my face that you're better than me i was born as just a man then you lit the fire and you pushed and pushed and then i went hay wire And you should have thought again before you held me back and when you pushed me to the floor and didn't think i'd attack Well tell me now my broken friend, how you think this will end As the unbound fury is ready to ascend Come at me, strike me, knock me to the ground break me away, pound by pound I'll keep pushing push forward, and fighting back, cause your rain and your terror can't keep me down As darkness falls the broken cry again they wish they pray it'll come to an end begging for a light they need a saviour Let's sacrifice in the name of rapture All fear falls away i see you clear as day like a cancer you just grow in dismay but i'm here like a hurricane to blow you away Now where's your golden crown? I lost more than i knew i could lose breaking, and taking and lighting my fuse I kept going back again and again you shattered my hopes and dreams when You destroyed my pride Sacrificed my name And i gave it all for free i won't run and hide And i won't play your game now look me in the eye and tell me to my face that you're better than me thanks for listening :3
