Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning close out the morning by welcoming on former Toronto Maple Leaf general manager and NHL legend Brian Burke to assess Brad Treliving’s job performance, the impact of missing Auston Matthews and the effect of the Leafs keeping injury information closely guarded. They then get into a potential coaching change and what other areas the team could look to improve and Brian’s assessment of the league overall. After the break, the guys are joined by former NHL’er and FanDuel sports network Ohio’s Jody Shelley (31:34) to discuss the struggling Blue Jackets and how a road trip could help them, the importance of team bonding and the struggles of underperformance.
