The new musical “Buena Vista Social Club” is now on Broadway after an acclaimed off-Broadway run. The show follows a group of Cuban musicians coming together to record the now-famous 1997 album Buena Vista Social Club. Marco Ramirez wrote the book for the musical, and Natalie Venetia Belcon stars as Omara, a vocalist convinced to come out of retirement to work on the album.
