So you've finished Rise of the Runelords, but still want to listen to more of our content.

First and foremost thank you kindly!  If you are looking for more, our next project is...

Welcome to Bug City Blues - a Shadowrun Sixth-World Edition Actual Play Podcast.

We have Clinton as River Bear.
We have Alex as Pancetta.
We have Nathan as Lockdown.
We have Nikole as Moira.
We have Chris as Lester Moore.
And I am Connor - I'll be running the show this time around.

This episode is meant to serve as an introduction to the Shadowrun universe.  We discuss briefly who we will be playing, what the setting of the game will be, and then take a deep dive into finding out what we've missed in the almost 40 years of content made between the creation of the game and the start of our project.  We simply don't have enough time to get into everything (sorry, Halley's comet aficionados) but this episode should serve to prepare you for the wild, futuristic dystopia of 2080's Chicago.  We only get into the weeds once or twice about The A Team and what devices should sing to you in the future!  Please stay tuned for more updates - the show is currently in pre-production and looking to begin releasing around Q3 2023.  Eager to share your thoughts?  Did we get something wrong?  Just want to join the conversation?  Join our discord below to become a part of our growing community!

Rise of the Superbugs Rise of the Superbugs We are headed towards a post-antibiotic era, a world where common infections could become life-threatening. That's the message from The World Health Organisation, but are we listening?Rise of the Superbugs is a six-part series about antimicrobial resistance or "superbugs, telling the scary (but solvable) story of superbugs. The series explores our medical systems, through personal stories, waterways and acts of (human) resistance. We’ll talk to experts as we dig into our medicine cabinets, hospitals and backyards, the known past and predicted futures.Rise of the Superbugs reveals where the media has gone wrong in telling the superbug story and why we need to retell it.Host: Dr Britta Jorgensen. Producers: Sarah Mashman and Silvi Vann-Wall. Executive Producer: Professor Mia Lindgren. The Rise Of The Blue-Collar Noncompete Agnes Ford Traditionally, noncompete clauses have been reserved for whiter collar professionals. But as the labor market tightens, employers increasingly want blue-collar workers to adhere to these agreements too. The Rise of the Feminine Gina Lazenby There are huge shifts happening globally that not only involve the rise of women but also the rise of feminine values in men and, in women, which are re-shaping our collective future. We discover more and more women coming into their own, finding their unique purpose. In this surge for equality, some men may fear they will be displaced, but in reality, we’ll see how this is a movement that is more about a shared vision for a re-balancing of the planet. It’s not about women taking over but women standing alongside men in their rightful place. The question for many male leaders is how to integrate this new female power in organisations and fully understand that the shifts happening in their businesses, and politics are an embracing of new feminine values that will not only help them to adapt but also to thrive. This is a space where we can explore and bring together the conversations about what is emerging around the world as we witness shifts in power. The Rise of Silas Lapham by William Dean Howells Loyal Books The Rise of Silas Lapham is the most widely read of W.D. Howells’ novels. An example of literary realism, the story is about a farmer (Silas Lapham) who launches a very successful paint business, and moves his family up the social ladder of Boston. Lapham, however, is not one of the new types of American businessman, the ruthless plutocrat, rather he is the old-fashioned trustworthy Yankee trader, and the story deals with how he fares in the industrial capitalist environment. It is also a novel of manners, telling the story of the courtship of a daughter, and the difficulties the family deals with in attempting to move from one social class to another.
