Our guest today is Nicholas Hinrichsen, a Stanford MBA who built a digital platform for used car sales in 2013. He raised $2M in seed funding from angel investors and the startup accelerator YCombinator by 2015. After doing a pivot in the business model, sales took off and Nicholas and his co-founder Chris Coleman raised a $8M venture capital round.In 2017, the two founders sold their business to Carvana, which was growing at a rapid pace.
