Prior to this, which she headed CDPQ, South Asia, as Managing Director. Ms. George has to her credit, a solid track record in managing global investment portfolios in infrastructure, specifically in the energy, oil and gas, mining, water, transportation and logistics sectors. She is responsible for the New Delhi office of CDPQ and sits on the executive committee as well as investment-risk committee.  Before joining CDPQ India, Ms. George was Senior Director of the World Bank Group’s Global Practice for Energy and Extractives. Prior to her position at the World Bank, Ms. George was Director of Infrastructure and Natural Resources at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Before that, she was Head of Siemens Financial Services in India.
