Bundoran RNLI and Rescue 118 tasked to Sligo rescue

Bundoran RNLI and the Rescue 118 helicopter were tasked to rescue two people stuck at a cliff in Sligo.The alarm was raised at around 2.40 on Wednesday afternoon, as two people were stuck on the rocks at Mermaid's Cove in Mullaghmore.Upon arrival, it was discovered one of the people had a wrist injury, and the Rescue 118 helicopter was called to lift the casualty to safety.The second person was able to make it back to the top of the cliff with the assistance of a lifeboat crew member and shore crew waiting at the top.
