Two years ago the Kingdom of Breland's most populated city, Sharn was laid under siege by a Golden Dragon claiming to have been the continent's rightful ruler from thousands of years ago, Galifar. The nobles caved and the kingdom fell. For now war seems imminently on the horizon as Galifar makes preparations for conquering the rest of Khorvaire.However for the town's folk of Ardev life has not changed much and that is where our story begins.
