Jeff went on a camping trip, with his family, in 1971, when he was a kid. He and his family had gone to a place in the Smokey Mountains, called Cades Cove. They had never gone camping there before. Not long after arriving, Jeff started passing a football around, with other kids he met there. They had been throwing the football around for about 15 to 20 minutes. A pass, intended for him, sailed over his head and went into the timber.
