Call to GP Practices to get Onboard Wessex Healthier Together

The Wessex Healthier Together website provides advice for parents, young people and pregnant women, and clinical resources to support healthcare professionals – which means that children are likely to receive consistently high-quality care, irrespective of which healthcare professional they see. Sanjay Patel, Paediatrics Infectious Diseases Consultant at Southampton Children's hospital who leads the Healthier Together programme, joins us to discuss the resources available in further detail to help change parental help seeking behaviour. The Healthier Together app aims to change the health-seeking behaviour of parents by providing them with the tools to evaluate the severity of their child’s illness when they are poorly.
