Calls for renewed focus in North Leitrim over greenway plans

There are renewed calls on businesses and residents in North Leitrim to focus on providing more tourist accommodation ahead of the completion of the SLNCR Greenway. That project is set to be complete in around four years' time. There's concern that if the likes of Manorhamilton and other towns and villages in the county do not have adequate accommodation available, then tourists will stay and spend their money elsewhere. Local Independent Cllr Felim Gurn believes that the area needs to get its act together if it wants to benefit from the initiative:
