Can a team make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament without a true superstar or is that overrated?

-Most views of Nebraska in B1G circles are impressed with the overall team, but no there’s no true superstar---Pryce Sandfort isvery good but not a surefire NBA player and is seen as a 2 nd team All-B1G player as of right now-Rienk Mast was seen as a first-team All-B1G player for a while but has dropped off that line…if this team is to win its first evergame and go beyond that, do they have the type of build without a superstar who can take the game over?
