Career changers: Simone Mardell - from luxury fashion to Social Media Manager

from Career Happy Mums: The Podcast · host Rebecca Amin

In this episode I chat to Simone Mardell who, after over 20 years experience in the Luxury Fashion industry, made the decision to change career and retrained as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator. Simone shares what it took to make this shift, what motivated her to do it and offers some honest advice to help you move forward in your journey too.  Simone does not sugar coat how things were for her - working full time in the fashion industry, with a young child and her partner working night shifts, re-training was not an easy task! However, with her vision for her future and taking calculated risks along the way, she succeeded and would not look back.  Simone is honest, thoughtful and willing to share the highs and lows of her career change in this episode!
