A couple of years ago I came across a small pamphlet called “the cookie under the doormat.” The interactive story inside goes something like this: Think about two kids. You pick the ages and the gender in your mind. They are simply for ease called A and B. The first day A and B bring you a cookie. They both want it and you have to decide who gets it. Of course you want to either break it in half or say neither but that isn’t allowed. You must choose.
