Casting All Your Care Upon Him

We do not know what each of us is going through but God does. There are things we go through in life when we want answers. We all have friends and those friends mean a lot to us, but they don’t understand what each of us is going through at all times. Those friends care but they don’t it all. God is the only one that knows what we are going through and what we need to get through it. At times we can feel that no one cares. The enemy comes and pushes us down. God knows when this happens and there is hope in Him. The devil will have you believe that no one cares. He is so wicked and he’ll cause us to go down a road of depression, but God and His word have never failed. The world doesn’t want you to believe that God loves you and cares for you. The world will tell you to look to yourself and to others. We let ourselves down and so do others. God will never let you down and He loves you more than anything in this world. One can make a thousand excuses, finances, spouse, family, employment, bills, etc. The enemy is bringing in these excuses trying to get you to dwell on the depression. The enemy wants to keep you in the news media to keep you depressed to think there is nothing to live for. God loves you and cares for your soul. Remember the importance of humility. Get absent of your pride. You need God with every breath you take. He will lift you up out of the worries of this life. Isaiah 53:3-5; does He care for you? It was your fault that He was crucified and yet He cares for you. He took our place and took the punishment that we couldn’t take. Everything that He did at Calvary He did for us. He cares for your soul, He cares for you! It’s by grace through faith that one is saved. It’s not that you’ve earned salvation. Have you ever turned your back on Jesus? There’s not a single person that can say they’ve never done this. We’ve all been that “Prodigal Son”. There are some that think they’ve done too much for God to love them. John 3:16; the most quoted verse from the bible yet we don’t believe what we know. Isaiah 53:10; because He loves you and cares for our soul. He did all of these things just so we could go free. He gave Himself a ransom for our souls. Because He loved you. You can’t bargain with God. Titus 2:11; this is the only thing that everyone has. On the cross Jesus asked His father, God, to forgive us because we had no idea what we were doing. Philippians 2:6-8; the devil lies to everyone and tells us that no one cares for us. Jesus made Himself a servant to care for us. The devil is trying his dead-level best to siphon all of the joy out of our lives every day. We’ve read and know the story of Jesus in a boat with His disciples. A great storm blew in and Jesus just slept through it. The disciples began to worry and get upset because they thought that Jesus didn’t care about them about to perish in the storm. Jesus was right there and yet they thought He didn’t care. In another place, it was asked how much God loves us compared to a bird. God provides for the birds without thought. Yet He loves us MORE than the lowly bird. We are to put God first and as long as we do that then He will provide. We all worry about stuff, we think our faith is in jeopardy and at times we just are not going to make it. He’s proven that He loves us and it’s time to take the enemy’s lies to Him. Be honest, and admit that you’ve been carrying those things around that are not meant to be carried. Lay them upon Jesus and let Him take them from you.
