We caught up with both our footy players over in the hub on the Gold Coast. Sonny Walters from Freo was up and about, he’s actually loving being around his teammates and even seeing the Eagles players here and there. Though he’s not keen on golf or gaming, both of which his teammates smash him at all the time! Brad Sheppard is our new West Coast Eagle, he also called through to talk about being on the hub and about last night lacklustre first game back. He’s been learning how to surf in lockdown but is too embarrassed to give it a crack on the Goldie yet! And over in New Zealand a town has been overrun by chickens after a farmer let 2 loose – have you had an experience when suddenly something was everywhere? Turns out yes, it happens a lot.
