Celebrating Samhain

In this episode we celebrate our favourite holiday and turn of the wheel, Samhain! Samhain is a traditional Celtic holy day. This turn of the wheel marks the mid-point between the Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice in late December in the Northern Hemisphere. It starts October 31st, starting at sunset and ending at sunset on the 1st of November. Samhain is thought to be a liminal moment, when the border between the physical and spiritual worlds is at its thinnest and the supernatural can penetrate our world and be experienced. It is a time when you are invited to connect to ancestral memory and to listen deeply as you revere in its wisdom.The origin of Halloween is believed to have been derived from this pagan and Celtic celebration.
