Guest Spotlight Bobby Bakewell Bobby Bakewell was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and is 26 years old. His whole life, he's been fishing, starting with his dad in club tournaments when he was 8 years old. Once he started high school fishing, he really got the desire to make his living tournament fishing. Bobby graduated in 2017 , and over the span of 7 years, he progressed from co-angler in the Toyota Series and Bassmaster Opens to boater in the Toyotas and Invitationals to now, the Bass Opens. He has had a lot of success in the Toyotas and Opens over the years. It took two 2nds and a 3rd in Toyotas before Bobby finally got his first win in a Bassmaster Open on Lake Martin to qualify him for the Bassmaster Classic. Bobby narrowly missed the Elite Series by two places this year but is eager to make that dream come true in the near future! Demonstrating his commitment to the sport, Chris has participated in the Bassmaster Opens Elite Qualifiers (EQ), fishing all nine events on the schedule. In addition to his tournament endeavors, Chris owns and operates 44 Tackle Co., a tackle store located in Inverness, Florida.
