Chapter 12: The Back Porch

“A vessel can still be worthy of water, even when it’s not perfect.”A bit of spring cleaning.  We find the Inn being turned upside down with furniture being moved and corners cleaned.  We meet Haru, a traveler wearing an odd hat and carrying an odder tale.  We are reminded to respect nature and its tricksters, that drunken boasting has little place in the wilder parts of the world, and that jumping to conclusions can be disastrous for one’s hair when dealing with foxes. We wiggle our toes and watch the fireflies dance by the back porch, out of the way of the hustle and bustle inside.
