Radio Salaam Shalom Podcasts RADIO SALAAM SHALOM "Muslims and Jews Talking Together" Radio Salaam Shalom is a Bristol-based online radio station staffed by a volunteer team mainly from the Jewish and Muslim communities of the city. It launched on 1 February 2007.The project is seen as the UK's first Muslim-Jewish initiative of this type and emphasises the voice of the “moderate majority”. Its programmes give people from both communities the chance to celebrate, debate and share the events, issues and faith that shape their daily lives.It has received coverage and been the subject of special features on many of the world's biggest broadcast networks, including NHK (Japan), RAI2 (Italy), BBC WORLD, BBCTV, CBC (Canada), CHANNEL 4 (UK), TRIPLE J (Australia), PRESS TV (Iran) and AL JAZEERA ENGLISH amongst others. RadioNFA RadioNFA Radio NFA is a community orientated radio station run by people who are currently homeless or have previously experienced homelessness. The project aims to dispel myths of homelessness as represented by the media, and provide a voice for the growing number of homeless people in Aotearoa, New Zealand. The structure of the current group is that of co-direction, where all members have a say in how the station is run, its core aims, and NFA’s projected future. WQSU-FM The Pulse - Original Programming WQSU The Pulse 88.9 WQSU-FM, "The Pulse", the radio voice of Susquehanna University, is operated by the staff, students and faculty of S.U. as well as community volunteers. Developed as an educational facility, the station is run under the supervision of the Department of Communications. Located at 88.9 megahertz, the 10,500-watt HD station can be heard at a 70- mile radius from its home in Selinsgrove, PA. Be sure to catch our own original programming right here! Artlands Victoria - Highlights Podcast SYN Content In October 2018 SYN spent the week in Bendigo, Victoria as part of the Artlands Festival - thanks to the support of our friends Regional Arts Victoria!We 'Unleashed The Artlands Voice', working with 10, year 10 students from Bendigo South East College to get four full days of on the ground festival coverage!Producing 27 segments - including: on site interviews with artists regarding their keynotes and exhibitions, students reflections on their experience, along with the atmos of the festival week.The students were the drivers, collecting their own content, editing their own packages and developing content independently.
