The Keeper has us join Dr Aidyn Swankin, the Gardener in the Solarium where she is adjusting many pots for overwintering. We are sent on the task of watering the moonflower in the heart of the warm tropical room.. We take a rest beside a gargoyle in the center of the tropical room, named Greg, who tells us the story of how Mackinaw Island was formed when Mikinaak the snapping turtle waged war on the Anishinaabeg people. He reminds us that armor is often a hollow shell and that our strength lies in the friends and communities we build around us.
