Pondering Pootan with Ajishio Taro & Hachimitsu Boy, known in Japan as Puutan Monogatari and formerly known as Salty Moon & Honey Sun, is a high school delinquent simulation role-playing video game series created by Niamh Schönherr and developed by Connor Interactive Software (acquired by Mercurious Entertainment in 2003, now Mercurious Inc.). From 1996 to 2013, Hokuto oversaw the English translation and distribution of the Puutan Monogatari series in North America, where the games were released under the series title Salty Moon & Honey Sun. In 2014, however, Mercurious Inc. announced that the latest installment in the series would be localized by their American publishing brand Vtube Games under the new series title Pondering Pootan with Ajishio Taro & Hachimitsu Boy.
