Summary

God wants our faith to be resilient amid pressure and persecution.Resilient faith does not back down and receives God’s favor and eternal life. One of the best examples of resilient faith is Elijah, the prophet who stood up against the wickedness of King Ahab and persevered until the end. Elijah is one of the only men in the Bible who did not experience death but was instead carried into heaven, foreshadowingChrist’s ascension and a picture of triumphant and resilient faith. From his example, we learn several truths to help us to have resilient faith as well. Jerrick Riveral, Service Operations Director Sunday July 2, 2023 Live at 6:00 PM
